This photo was taken in Rexburg. The night before I was walking around with friends and we were all oohing and ahhing over how beautiful the frost was. I love photographing snow, but it is tricky. Checking the hisogram doesn’t always work, but thank goodness for photoshop! The before image is just blah. Shallow depth of fields are my favorite. Probably because that’s how I see without my glasses.
To edit this image I adjusted the levels and curves a tad and then sharpened the part that is in focus. I was careful to only have the opacity to ten percent when sharpening. I was curious what would happen if the opacity was on one hundred and it ruins the image. When using it at ten percent it boosts the image so much.
